Research led by Berkeley PhD candidate Joshua Apte has revealed new insights about the extent of air pollution exposure encountered on roadways in New Delhi, one of the developing world's largest megacities.
A research article describing the team's findings has just been accepted for publication (*). Josh's mentors include Professor William Nazaroff and Berkeley alumni Dr. Thomas Kirchstetter and Professor Julian Marshall.
Josh has posted a brief video illustrating the consequences of a close encounter with truck exhaust on YouTube.
