The Rose School at the University of Pavia, Italy awarded Professor Emeritus Anil Chopra the Nigel Priestley International Prize 2018, “to honor individuals for creativity, innovation, research, and professional achievements and excellence in education in the field of earthquake engineering and engineering seismology."
Professor Chopra was the unanimous choice by the prize's selection committee.
