We are delighted to share that CEE Graduate Advisor, Shelley Okimoto, is a recipient of UC Berkeley's 2020 and 2021 Excellence in Advising & Student Services Award! The award recognizes the positive and innovative impact that recipients have on student learning, engagement, and belonging on the Berkeley campus.
Shelley was honored within the Outstanding Advising category, for her creative problem-solving, authenticity and tireless commitment to student well-being. She has worked at Cal for 35 years, and we cannot thank her enough for the incredible energy and care she puts into her mentorship and support of students, faculty and colleagues.
