(CEE)² Director Attends National Environmental Justice Conference & Training Program

The 16th annual National Environmental Justice Conference (NEJC) hosted in Washington, D.C., took place March 7th - 9th at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The title of this year's conference was "Fully Integrating and Institutionalizing Environmental Justice & Equity." The purpose of the conference was to enhance communities through capacity building and technical assistance.

The NEJC is a Non-Profit Organization, through its annual National Environmental Justice Conference and Training Program, that brings together community members, academia, the private sector, and state and local officials, as well as Federal and State government representatives, to examine the state of environmental justice (EJ) and share best practices. The conference theme is “Enhancing Communities Through Capacity Building and Technical Assistance.”
