To mark what would have been CEE Professor Emeritus Carl L. Monismith’s 100th birthday this month, his family has launched a 1:1 Matching Gift Challenge up to $50,000 for the soon to be established Carl L. Monismith Endowed Graduate Fellowship.
For 60+ years, Carl shaped generations of Cal engineers. He always believed graduate students were the heart of CEE—driving innovation while mentoring the next wave of leaders.
We’re close to reaching our $250,000 endowment goal, and this $50k match is our ticket across the finish line.
- Every $1 you give = $2 for CEE graduate scholars.
- Single gifts and multi-year pledges are both eligible for the match!
