August 20-24 is Welcome Week at Cal. Welcome all new CEE students! Attend CEE Orientations and learn about important departmental resources.
Undergraduate
- CEE freshmen and transfer students should attend the College of Engineering's New Student Orientation on Wednesday, August 22, from 10 am-4 pm. See schedule.
- Note: 2-4 pm, CEE Department orientation, 502 Davis Hall. Meet Vice Chair Sanjay Govindjee and learn about the CEE curriculum. Hear from student organizations and receive your faculty adviser assignment.
- Campus Welcome Week activities.
Graduate
CEE Graduate Orientation is on Monday, August 20. See agenda.
- Check-in and registration: 9:00-10:00 am on the Bechtel Terrace, outside of Davis Hall.
- CEE's departmental orientation: 10:00 am-noon in Sibley Auditorium (2nd floor, Bechtel Hall).
- CEE program break-out sessions: 12:00-3:00 pm.
There will be presentations from faculty and staff on important resources within the department, in the College of Engineering, and on campus. Box lunches will be available for new students and faculty on the Bechtel Terrace at noon.
