Professor Anil Chopra's book, Dynamics of Stuctures: Theory and Applications to Earthquake Engineering has been translated into Turkish in 2015. First published in 1995, the book is now in its 4th edition.
Earlier the book has been translated and published in Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Greek, Farsi, and Spanish.
Dynamics of Structures includes many topics encompassing the theory of structural dynamics and the application of this theory regarding earthquake analysis, response, and design of structures.
Chopra is the Horace, Dorothy, and Katherine Johnson Professor of Engineering. He teaches in CEE's Structural Engineering, Mechanics and Materials program.
