Mr. Gilbert was President of PBQ&D Inc., the western lead subsidiary of PB Inc., as well as a Partner and Sr. Vice President of Parsons Brinckerhoff Inc. Mr. Gilbert has received the ASCE Rickey Medal and the Construction Management Award, and in 1997, he was elected to the National Academy of Engineering. In 1998 he received the UC Berkeley's College of Engineering's Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award.
