Shane Trussell

Shane is the President of Trussell Technologies, Inc. with more than 25 years of experience, a Ph.D. from UC Berkeley studying membrane bioreactors, an M.S. from UCLA, and his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from UC Riverside. Shane has authored more than 60 publications and is a registered professional engineer in California. Shane is passionate about finding elegant and simple solutions to the complex challenges facing utilities with climate change threatening our water quality and supply. Shane has been involved in the planning, design, permitting, operation and optimization of indirect and direct potable reuse projects. He has also served as the Principal Investigator on research projects that developed critical information to fill important data gaps that supported the development of potable reuse regulations (both surface water and direct) in California.
