This position serves as the primary graduate student services advisor for the Master’s program in CEE. The advisor functions independently with a minimum of supervision and must be able to solve complex and unprecedented problems. This position is expected to make decisions and recommendations to the Vice Chair and Chair autonomously and proactively. The incumbent administers all operational aspects of the academic program, providing expertise and guidance on policy to faculty, students, and staff, also serving as the main point of contact for individuals, groups, and organizations outside the University.
The position oversees all Master’s graduate activities such as student advising, admission, and recruitment including diversity recruitment and retention. The position is responsible for the administration of Master’s student records, requirements, fellowships and financial aid from the Professional Degree Supplemental Tuition. The position may supervise non-academic student employees.
