GeoSystems Students Honored with 2024–2025 Outstanding GSI Awards

Four GeoSystems graduate students have been recognized with the 2024–2025 Outstanding Graduate Student Instructor (GSI) Award for their exceptional contributions to teaching in undergraduate and graduate courses over the past year. This campus-wide honor highlights their dedication to student learning, commitment to inclusive instruction, and ability to foster critical thinking in the classroom.

Award recipients include:

  • Madison Callan (M.S. student, Class of 2025)
  • Treves Li (M.S. student, Class of 2025)
  • Satuk Bugrahan Sari (Ph.D. student, Class of 2027)
  • Bodhinanda Chandra (Ph.D. student, currently postdoctoral researcher)

These students went above and beyond in their roles as GSIs, engaging deeply with their students and supporting their academic growth through thoughtful, inclusive, and impactful teaching.
