The Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley is inviting alumni, friends, and supporters to participate in Big Give on Thursday, March 12, 2026, a campus wide day of giving dedicated to strengthening the future of Berkeley.
At Berkeley CEE, innovation begins with strong foundations. From classrooms where students develop new ways of thinking to laboratories and conference rooms where research ideas are tested and refined, the department continues to design solutions that shape the infrastructure of tomorrow.
Support during this year’s Big Give will help fund the spaces and resources needed for the department’s next chapter, including the launch of Berkeley CEE’s Environmental Engineering major and the department’s upcoming move to Soda Hall. These initiatives will expand opportunities for students and researchers while supporting the department’s mission of addressing complex societal and environmental challenges.
Enduring systems don’t happen by chance, they’re engineered. Together, we can strengthen our community, expand our impact, and ensure Berkeley CEE continues to lead in developing resilient solutions for the future.
