Miscellaneous Hydraulic Pumps and Accumulators
Tool Type | Hydraulic Power |
Quantity | 5 |
Location | David Hall, First Floor |
Description
On the first floor of Davis Hall is the heart and muscle of the Laboratory. These hydraulic pumps provide the hydraulic power to conduct the tests. In the pump room, there are 3 Dennison pumps capable of 3000 PSI @ 60 GPM and 1 Parker-Hannifin pump capable of 3000 PSI @ TBD GPM. For high surge capability, there are 2 hydraulic accumulators (not shown in picture). Hydrants and manifolds are located throughout the facility to provide easy hookup of actuators near the specimens under test.
