We are thrilled to announce that Kelly Vernon has taken on a new role as Staff Director of the Community Engaged Education in Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE)² program! In this new position, Kelly brings a wealth of experience and a visionary approach, aiming to advance our mission of fostering innovation and excellence within the CEE community.

The (CEE)² program is an innovative initiative dedicated to advancing community engagement in research, teaching, and service across the department. It focuses on building relationships and strengthening partnerships with local Bay Area communities, equipping faculty, staff, and students to navigate community engagement opportunities effectively.

As the (CEE)² Staff Director, Kelly will oversee the development and implementation of cutting-edge initiatives to support our students, faculty, and research efforts. Her leadership will play a key role in driving the program's goals to enhance academic opportunities, promote diversity and inclusion, and strengthen industry partnerships.
