We are delighted to invite you to attend and participate in our Construction Innovation Day on Friday, April 18, at UC Berkeley on the Clark Kerr Campus. The Project Production Systems Laboratory (P2SL) hosts this Innovation Day in collaboration with the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department and, specifically, the Construction Systems faculty. The event will be held from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
This event celebrates the department's launch of a new Construction Systems Master's Program. Our first cohort of students admitted into the Program will arrive on campus later this year.
In recent years, the construction industry has been changing at an accelerating speed, driven by innovation and automation to meet the need for an increasingly sophisticated and sustainable built environment while addressing worker shortages and ever-so-important safety and health concerns.
The agenda for the day includes presentations by faculty and Cal alums who are working to advance the state-of-the-art construction means and methods driven by innovative developments and uses of technologies for sensing, automation, and data processing.
