Our Cal Construction team is back from Reno after competing in the annual Associated Schools of Construction student competition. The competition is visibly getting more challenging each year. About 1,700 students were there to compete in 17 tracks; of those, we had 80 CEE and Architecture Bears who competed fiercely in 11! The team's advisor is Professor Iris Tommelein.

The results:

1st Place - Rapha Felipe (team lead), Eunice Hanaya Gaper, Daniel Arce, Dylan Munt, Robyn Lim, and Owen Zuidema in the Sustainability Track hosted by Skanska.

3rd Place - Jesus Valenzuela (team lead), Mansi Patel, Marco Hernandez, Julio Ibanez, Benjamin Vento, and Melissa Munoz in the Project Management Track hosted by DPR.

Porsche Outlaw was recognized in the Preconstruction Track hosted by PCL as the Most Valuable Person among all 13 teams' participants in her track.

And we had 1 student place in each of the multi-school teams that won
1st Place - Miguel Hernandez
2nd Place - Jonathan Bonilla Solares
3rd Place - Aditya Ashok Khalane
in the Alternates Track hosted by Rudolph and Sletten

GO BEARS. We all should be very proud of them!
