Join us for the next Collective for Inclusive Engineering Series seminar with Dr. Paul Jacobs, Chief Executive Officer of Globalstar and a pioneering leader in wireless technology innovation.
Before joining Globalstar in 2023, Dr. Jacobs served as Chairman and CEO of XCOM Labs—now Virewirx—which he founded in 2018. He previously spent over a decade in top leadership roles at Qualcomm, serving as CEO from 2005–2014 and as a director from 2005–2018, including terms as Chairman of the Board and Executive Chairman.
During his tenure at Qualcomm, Dr. Jacobs drove breakthrough advancements that helped shape the modern mobile and wireless internet landscape. A prolific inventor, he holds more than 80 U.S. patents granted or pending in wireless technology and devices.
Dr. Jacobs is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in electrical engineering and computer science. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
