Jack Moehle Elected to National Academy of Construction

Featured Faculty: Jack P. Moehle
CEE Professor Jack Moehle was elected to the National Academy of Construction (NAC) for his work as an "influential researcher, author, and academician with transformative contributions in global building codes, particularly for concrete systems and seismic design for reinforced concrete buildings."
 
Moehle joins an extraordinary class of 34 new members elected in 2023 and becomes part of NAC's 448 current elected members. The National Academy of Construction honors outstanding construction industry leaders and shares their collective experiences and expertise to help the Nation by improving their industry.
 
He has made significant contributions to advancing the seismic design of structures on a global scale. Moehle has also contributed extensively to reinforced concrete, code development, and improved structural design practices.
