JK MITCHELL GRADUATE FELLOWSHIP

The UC Berkeley GeoSystems program is establishing a JK Mitchell Graduate Fellowship endowment. Professor Mitchell's former students provided the initial funding, and the program aims to raise $150,000 to meet the endowment requirements. To this end, the faculty in the Geosystems program are committed to matching dollar-for-dollar all new donations up to a total of $50,000.

Donations can be made by check payable to UC Regents with a cover memo indicating that the funds are a gift to the James K. (JK) Mitchell Geotechnical Graduate Fellowship Endowment, fund number #RS0069000, and sent to:

University of California, Berkeley
Donor and Gift Services
1995 University Avenue, Ste 400
Berkeley, CA 94704-1070

When you donate, please inform CEE Professor Kenichi Soga or one of the Geosystems faculty to ensure the donation is attributed to the Mitchell fund.
