The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for two tenure-line faculty positions at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the areas of: 1) structural engineering and mechanics, 2) geotechnical engineering, and 3) transportation engineering. Beyond the specific area of activity, the applicant’s intellectual depth and promise for high-quality research and teaching are top priorities. Individuals with demonstrated abilities to collaborate across disciplines especially are encouraged to apply. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree in civil engineering, or closely related discipline. The new hires will teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and are expected to enhance the department’s existing curriculum.
