The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is seeking visionary individuals who are integrating structural engineering, resilient infrastructure, fluid-structure interactions, and structural informatics and machine learning to address the sustainable infrastructure challenges of the 21st century. Our department seeks to enhance its integrative research and educational programs. We are especially interested in candidates with a background in fluid-structural interactions, structural informatics and machine learning, multiscale modeling, multi-disciplinary optimization, and dynamics and controls. The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering invites applications for a full-time tenuretrack faculty appointment with an anticipated start date of Fall 2018. The rank of Assistant Professor is targeted, but all ranks will be considered. Applicants are expected to have a doctoral degree in Structural Engineering or related discipline.
