Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following:
• Apply ingenuity and creativity to solve complex hydrologic and hydraulic engineering problems over a wide range of applications.
• Conduct water resources engineering evaluations and studies.
• Assess and evaluate complex water resource systems including watersheds receiving rain and snow.
• Analyze and perform hydraulic design of reservoirs, channels, and other hydraulic structures.
• Conduct riverine and estuarine hydraulic and sediment transport modeling using single and multi-dimensional numerical models.
• Use GIS tools to pre- and post-process data.
• Prepare figures, maps, and graphics.
• Organize, manipulate, and evaluate data using spreadsheets or other engineering software.
• Prepare technical reports and memoranda.
• Other duties may be assigned.
