Christian Lander (B.S.'23 CE) works as a project engineer at XL Construction, the company in charge of construction work on the new Engineering Center. Last month, Lander took Cal Construction's commercial team on a tour of the construction site. He was a member of the student group not too long ago.

"I used to study in this building," he said. "It's a huge blessing to build this project and know that you're not only impacting the students now but the students 20 years from now."

Like Christian, we know that when Berkeley Engineering students collaborate, it fuels innovation and change — and hope for a better tomorrow. The new Engineering building is slated to open in 2025, transforming the student experience for future generations. With your gift, you're helping to support a space that will equip and empower our best and brightest engineering leaders.
