In the news: Graduates Develop Technology to Address Poverty

Featured Faculty: Ashok Gadgil

A CEE graduate course, CE 209: Design for Sustainable Communities, educates students to develop technological solutions to address poverty in underprivileged communities.

The course is grounded in the belief that technology can curb suffering in these communities and that new generations of students can contribute with their educational experiences.

Read about the 6 teams of students and their hands-on learning experiences addressing real-life projects proposed by non-profits.
