Arpad Horvath Chairs Food-Energy-Water Nexus Conference

Professor Arpad Horvath is chairing the 2nd Food-Energy-Water Nexus Conference, sponsored by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.

The conference presentations address profound sustainability and technical issues surrounding food, energy, and water systems in their interactions, such as how we provide food, energy and water supplies in urban environments as population continues to increase, how we manage food-energy-water issues in arid regions, and how we harvest resources and energy from waste systems. Obstacles, solutions, and initiatives are the foci of this conference, and attendees will leave with new ideas, opportunities, and collaborators.

Professors Kara Nelson and Paolo D'Odorico are both keynote speakers of the conference.
