Professor Slav Hermanowicz, faculty member in CEE's Environmental Engineering program, has been appointed a Visiting Fellow of the Institute of Advanced Studies at the Technical University of Munich.
Hermanowicz has been active in the International Expert Group on the Preservation of the Earth System (IESP), a network of scientists, engineers, representatives of non-governmental organizations and decision makers of the political and economic arena. IESP is a section of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts headquartered in Salzburg. The appointment will be devoted to developing an International Working Group on System Dynamics and Ecological Modelling as well as workshops.
