Kenichi Soga Writes Article for NAE Bridge Magazine Spring Issue “Sustainable Smart Cities”

CEE Professor Kenichi Soga wrote an article for this year's Spring issue of the National Academy of Engineering's Bridge magazine, "Sustainable Smart Cities" of the National Academy of Engineering's "Bridge." The article is called "Smart Infrastructure for Smart Cities."

NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Awarded to Ph.D. Candidate Phoebe Ho

A hearty congratulations to Phoebe Ho, a recipient of the 2023 National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship! The fellowship offers three years of support over five years, including an annual stipend of $37,000. The purpose of the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) is to ensure the quality, vitality, and diversity of the scientific and engineering workforce. 

(CEE)² Director Attends National Environmental Justice Conference & Training Program

The 16th annual National Environmental Justice Conference (NEJC) hosted in Washington, D.C., took place March 7th - 9th at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The title of this year's conference was "Fully Integrating and Institutionalizing Environmental Justice & Equity." The purpose of the conference was to enhance communities through capacity building and technical assistance.
