CE 166 Students Visit UCSF Construction Project
Students in Mark Shami's course visited UCSF's Parnassus Research and Academic Building Project. The visit included a presentation and site walk in partnership with Hensel Phelps. It exposed the students to the various construction methods, heavy equipment, earth-moving operations, and other activities on this complex project site. This trip was inspiring and informative!

We are excited to announce that meditation spaces are available for your use here at Davis Hall! Whether you're seeking tranquility amidst your busy day or taking a moment to reflect, we invite you to explore these meditation spaces. The Sutardja Dai meditation space is preferable during Yali Cafe's regular hours of operation, and the Davis Hall prayer room can be used afterward. Check out some of the other meditation spaces located around campus here.
CEE Advisory Council Hosts Info Session for Undergraduate Students
The CEE Advisory Council hosted an informational panel event for undergraduate students on Thursday, February 15th, from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm in Davis Hall for undergraduate students. The event was meant to help strengthen connections between the department, students, and the Advisory Council and featured geotech speaker Bahareh Heidarzadeh from ENGEO.
CE 112 Hosts Water Industry Career Roundtable
As part of the CE112 Water & Wastewater Systems Design and Operation course, a Water Industry Career Roundtable was held on December 1. The roundtable was attended by several senior leaders from various Bay Area water agencies and companies. During the roundtable, the participants discussed their personal career journeys and motivations, as well as the career paths available within their organizations.
