The Transportation Analysis section (TAS) within the California Air Resources Board (CARB) seeks highly motivated individuals to gather, process, and analyze big data to uncover meaningful insights and travel patterns. The incumbent will evaluate the land use and transportation strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions related to California's Senate Bill 375 Program.  The incumbent will also be responsible for developing new quantification methodologies for assessing the impact of various innovative transportation policies/technologies on emissions.  Excellent analytical, written, verbal communication, and interpersonal relationship skills are essential for this position.

Geoenvironmental Students Connect with Industry on Final Projects

 

Students enrolled in CE 176: "Geoenvironmental Engineering and Environmental Geotechnics," worked this spring semester in teams to select a geoenvironmental topic that was of interest and learn more about it. Instead of submitting their report to the instructors (Prof. Dimitrios Zekkos and Prof. Kenichi Soga), students submitted their project online to solicit feedback from industry professionals.
